These satin airways are great prep wheels to quickly make a rough wheel ready for polishing. You can use it straight on a dirty grime covered wheel or similar surface, and have it ready for polishing compound in the next step. For show quality polishes, you will likely want to sand with a sanding disk up to around 600 grit before polishing.
